Cash For Apps Review

Welcome to my Cash For Apps Review where we will be looking at an app that has been around a while now, but still seems to be getting a lot of attention.

There are so many different types of apps out there now that it can be difficult to find one that is worth your time even downloading in the first place.

This review will take the guess work out for you and y the end you’ll know either way if this is one of the good ones like this one I reviewed a while back or a complete lemon like this one.

It’s always a good idea to find out if something is a scam or totally legit before you waste your time.

What Is Cash For Apps About

Unfortunately the name of this app is misleading, you don’t get cash, you get gift cards, so it should really be called Gift Cards For Apps

You get these gift cards by redeeming points’ which you get by downloading apps and testing them out.

Sounds simple enough.

so, if you just watched that short video it would seem you need to download at least 21 apps before you can redeem your points’ for a gift card.

We’ll get into the numbers a little later, but for now that seem like a lot of apps to download and as they say themselves you should use the app for at least 5 minutes to ensure you qualify for the points’.[su_divider top=”no”]

The Sign up Process

The whole sign up was extremely easy with just an email and password needed, you don’t need any PayPal or bank accounts because the gift cards are delivered digitally to your email which is pretty cool.[su_divider top=”no”]

What Do You Have To Do

As we already touched on, to get your points’ you’ll need to choose an app from the list of the one that are available. Most apps pay out 300 points’.

When you look at an app in the list you’ll have some instructions as to what you have to do, most of the time they say test the app for 30 – 60 seconds and complete any tutorials.

Some times you have to get to a certain level if it’s a game, one I looked at wanted you to get to level 35!

Now, that 30 -60 second stuff confuses me a bit cause in there very own FAQ section which says “How come I never received any points’?” and their answer is “spend at least 5 minutes testing out the app”.

spending enough time on app

The good thing is that when you have received your points’ you can just go and delete the app, no need to keep it on there.[su_divider top=”no”]

How Many Points

As we already know this app use a points’ system to determine what value gift card you can get with the lowest value card set at $5 and the highest at $25.

To get to $5 Amazon card you’ll need 1800 points’, now, you get 20 when you sign up so only another 1780 to go 🙂

With the highest points’ payout being 300 as far as I can see, you will need to download at least 6 apps to qualify for that card which to be fair I don’t think is that bad.

I seriously don’t know what they are going on about in that video saying you need to download 21 apps.[su_divider top=”no”]

Other Ways to Earn Points

Once you’ve completed 4 app offers you’ll unlock the tasks section where you can earn more points’ for watching videos and completing surveys.

Another way is to enable an unlock screen feature so that every time you go to unlock your phone you’ll see an advertisement which you get points’ for seeing.

lock screen

You can also get points’ for inviting people to use the Cash For Apps app. When you sign up you get a code that is unique to you.

When someone signs up using that code they will get 20 points’ and you will get either 90 points’ if it’s an iOS invite or 45 points’ if it’s an Android invite, I don’t why there is such a big difference between the two systems.

There doesn’t seem to be any restrictions on where you can share your code, so basically anywhere you can think of.[su_divider top=”no”]

What Cards Are Available

The card options that are available differs slightly by country, but generally you have got a choice of:

  • iTunes
  • Google Play
  • Amazon
  • Steam
  • PlayStation
  • eBay
  • Gap
  • Target
  • Walmart
  • Sears

Cash For Apps Hacks

Within the process of putting this review together I came across a lot of either videos or websites that claim to be able to show you how to get extra points’, in some cases 90,000 per day!

I don’t recommend you try doing this, I’ve just had a look at one of the videos and they basically use a site to send bots to Cash For Apps using your invite code and for some reason they reckon that’s enough to get credited.

I don’t think that will work not unless the bots actually download an app which I don’t think they’ll be doing and Cash For Apps will know you’re sending a massive amount of bots to the site and will probably ban you.[su_divider top=”no”]

Some Things To Remember

  • You are not allowed to use a VPN to use this app and any points’ that you have earned will not be payed out.
  • Gift cards will expire 15 days after you receive your email.
  • You cannot invite yourself
  • Some apps are only on there for 24 hrs
  • You won’t get referral points’ until that person has downloaded at least one app
  • You can log into your CFA account from another device to download more apps and earn more points’ as long as that device hasn’t had a CFA account before.

Complaints

One complaint I’ve been seeing is the fact people are being shown the same offers and are having trouble remembering which apps they’ve already downloaded.

Other people complain about not being credited with points’, problems with registering and being told email was already in use, but the main one does seem to be not be able to redeem points’ which sort of defeats the object of the app.

Final Thoughts

Well, we found out that you don’t actually get cash with this app which is a shame seeing as that is what it is called. They should really think about adding a section where you can cash out to PayPal, keep the gift cards as well just give people more of an option.

I think that downloading 6 apps for a $5 gift card isn’t a bad deal when you think about it, I mean you don’t need to keep the app once you have your points’, OK, they do say to use it for at least 5 minutes, but at the same time they say it only takes 30 to 60 seconds to get your points’.

The trouble is that people have been saying that when they begin to accumulate points’ that the actual apps to download become increasingly sparse to the point where there aren’t any.

My main problem with this kind of app is I’d like the choice of what I do with any money that I’d earn, I don’t like the fact you only get gift cards.

I mean, you can’t eat a gift card can you. You can’t put petrol in your car with a gift card.

But they must be doing something right seeing as over 10,000,000 people have downloaded this app since it was released in 2015.

I’m in two minds as to approve or not approve this one, but with the amount of complaints they have about people not be credited with their points’ and restricting the amount of apps you see so you basically can’t reach any more points’ I think I’m going to have to give this one a not approved stamp

So What Can You Do Now

You know you can spend your time more productively don’t you? You don’t have to settle for gift cards as payment. You don’t have to keep looking at all these apps.

What I am talking about is Affiliate Marketing. Now I know you probably haven’t a clue what that is, I didn’t either before I got involved in it, that was over 4 years ago now, probably a bit longer than that actually.

Did you know that with Affiliate Marketing you have a fantastic opportunity to turn a hobby or something you’re passionate about into a full time income.

The main thing you need is a website.

Don’t know the first thing about building a website or how to make money from one? Don’t worry I didn’t either when I first started, but if I can do it then anyone can do it, believe me.

The good thing is you don’t even need to pay anything to see if it’s for you.

I hope this review of the Cash For Apps app has helped you out in some way or you may have already used it and want to let everyone know how you got on with it.
