Is Online Web Typing A Scam? Doesn’t Look Good

Data entry jobs allow you to work from the comfort of your own home, unfortunately there are a number of companies out there that just want to take advantage of you, which is why we are here today. We are going to be asking is Online Web Typing a scam or a legitimate opportunity to have the work at home lifestyle that so many people want.

The trouble is with the lure of that lifestyle people are sometimes reluctant to look into a program in any great depth before they sign up which by that time it’s too late especially if you have had to pay a fee to join.

So hopefully we can do that for you and save you some time and more importantly money by doing the research for you.

what is online web typing about

It’s all about working for yourself from your own home, you won’t be employed by the company, you will in fact be self employed, which means you are responsible for your own tax affairs. But i wouldn’t worry too much about that as i really don’t think you’ll get to that stage. You’ll see what i mean as we go on.

You will be required to carry out data entry work which is basically inputting data via your computer screen so internet access is a must.

This particular company claims that the work their clients provide is simple and no administrative experience is necessary.

how does it work

You sign up with the company who then supply you with the jobs of completing order forms, now I’m not really sure what they mean by completing order forms, but they claim it usually takes around an hour to type and you will earn around £20 – £25 ($28 – $35) per order.

I’m a little bit sceptical about that amount, i mean if you can believe what they say then they have more than enough customers who want this, sort of work done so you in theory you would be able to work a 40 hour week if you wanted which would result in £800 ($1126) for the weeks work.

I’ve never heard of data entry work paying that much.[su_divider top=”no” divider_color=”#d0d0d0″]

does it cost

This is one of the things that doesn’t quite ring true with me, the need for you to pay them, i mean if you went for a job at your local store would you expect to have to pay them for the privilege of working there?

Of course you wouldn’t, so why would they ask you to pay here, well they say it’s so they only get people who are serious about earning money.

That really doesn’t make any sense to me. If you don’t complete the order you don’t get paid, simple as that. So to use that as a reason for charging you is pretty poor if you ask me.

Now i will point out that the joining fee is meant to be refundable after you complete your first job. At this point we only have their word for that and as you’ll see in a while other people don’t think you will ever see that money again.[su_divider top=”no” divider_color=”#d0d0d0″]

anything to raise suspicions

There are a few things that I’d like to bring to your attention before we wrap things up.

As soon as i landed on the site something didn’t quite sit right with me, i couldn’t put my finger on it straight away, but as i navigated around it became quite clear what the matter was.

To start with at the top of the page they have the social icons that almost every site has these days, now what’s suspicious about that you may ask, well normally I’d say there’s nothing wrong with that, however these particular icons are false ones meaning you can’t click on them.

And.

Well this company has apparently over 5 years experience so wouldn’t you think that a company with that much experience would have a social program in place? I know I would.

Now they also claim to have over 25000 data entry jobs completed yet there isn’t one review from any previous workers anywhere on the web, now doesn’t that seem a bit strange to you.

Talking of reviews, there are just two people on the site who they claim to be members, however they are stock photos that are seen on lots of different sites.online web typing stock photoonline web typing stock pics

The address is a little suspect as well seeing as one’s on an industrial estate and the other is a P.O Box a few hundred miles away from the main office.online web typing location

It doesn’t really fill you with confidence does it.

I tried to contact them a few times to ask a few questions about the site, but when went to submit via their ‘contact us’ page, i was met with this each time.

online web typing contact usThe lack of any refund policy worries me a bit as well, why would you not offer a refund to people who are not happy with what they’ve received? It just doesn’t make sense to me.[su_divider top=”no” divider_color=”#d0d0d0″]

complaints

While in the process of this review i came across some complaints, to be fair there wasn’t too many, but the ones i did find all said the same thing really:online web typing complaints[su_divider top=”no” divider_color=”#d0d0d0″]

final thoughts

So what did i think of Online Web Typing? Is it a scam? Well to be honest i never like to call things an outright scam, i think that word gets thrown around way too easily for my liking, however this site hasn’t covered itself in glory either.

To not even be able to contact them before you even sign up is never going to be a good sign.

If a company is on the level and above board you’d expect them to have some sort of social presence and if they have the amount of jobs completed like they say they have then they should have no problem finding one of their customers to write a testimonial for them and to actually show their face, not just use some stock photo.

It would raise the question is anyone of their past customers at all happy with them? Probably not.

I for one certainly wouldn’t trust them.

so what next?

Now you have a choice to make, you either carry on looking for ways to make money online, taking the chance of not being fleeced or you can join a platform that is regarded by many in the industry as leading the field.

Now what I’m proposing isn’t a get rich quick scheme, in fact it’s going to take hard work on your part, but if you are willing to do that then the rewards can be better than you ever thought possible.

What am i going on about?

  1. Hey, luckily I found your review before finding the online web typing program.

I regularly look for good online income possibilities and thought in the writing sector to be safe.

As to be seen here there are gangsters at work there too.

Ok if I’d have to pay for working somewhere I’d get suspicious anyway.

I think I’ll check out your idea you mention at the bottom of your post.

    Free trial sounds good, thanks.

    • Yeah it’s always good to try before you buy if you can, that’s why having to pay beforehand without the possiblity of a refund if you don’t like what it is they do for you is just the tip of the iceberg with this company.

      Thanks for your comment

  2. Nice job exposing that one although in this case it seems obvious because they do such a poor job of making it look legit. Not all projects have that a membership fee are scams, but it would seem this one is, especially after reading what you wrote under “ANYTHING TO RAISE SUSPICIONS”. Great work.
