Welcome to my Insurgency review. Today we’re going to be looking at Jono Armstrongs’ latest product that was released just over a week ago.
This gives me the opportunity to have a look at some of the other reviews and if they are anything to go by then this should be a very good product.
Over the years I’ve had the chance to review a good number of Jono Armstrong products, some good, some bad and some are just downright terrible.
For some reason he seems to have split from long time partner, Brendan mace, whom it must be said was beginning to alienate a lot of people in the MMO world so perhaps Jono has picked up on that and decided to go his separate way.
That being said his last product which aimed to take advantage of these terrible times we find ourselves in was less thana stellar effort.
One thing that hasn’t changed is his ability to keep releasing product after product all with the same type of headline and to be fair I think people are becoming bored with the same old BS being fed to them.
What we’re going to do today is go through the sales page to see just how the claim being made compare to the actual product itself.
We’ll point out the good bits and the bad bits before taking a look inside the members area and going over the upsells to see what they are and how much they cost.
We will finish off with our final thoughts on whether this is a good product that stands a chance of making money for you or if it’s just another scam release designed just to line their pockets.
So, without further ado, let’s crack on..

Insurgency Sales Page
The sales page is an important part of the selling process, it’s where vendors can tell you all about the wonderful features of their product.
But what if what they are telling you on the sales page isn’t true?
I see it so many times where the sales page is just full of hype and BS and has no relation to the product you’re thinking of buying.
Which is why I find it so important to go through the sales page and pick out any discrepancies so that you can be fully aware what you’re buying.
I’m going to go over some of the claims here and then go through the product to see what’s real and what isn’t, so let’s start with the sales video.
The way Jono explains it is that it takes 5 minutes to set up, then penny clicks to a hand-picked offer for 3 figure commissions and regular $1,000+ daily profits.
He apparently then paid this expert thousands of dollars to package it all up into a paint by numbers system. It claims to solve the 2 biggest problems affiliate marketers have:
- Big Ticket Commissions
So basically what I’m expecting to find inside Insurgency is a way to get traffic and a high ticket program to send that traffic to. I mean what would be the point if you had to find your own offer?
You wouldn’t know if it converts or not, right. They even say traffic is the easy part, the hard part is the offer.
I wasn’t even sure what ‘Instamatic‘ was so I googled it. Turns out it was a Kodak camera so I really don’t know what Instamatic conversion actually are, do you?
The expert he paid thousands to turns out to be a mysterious figure called TX. I don’t know what it is with vendors at the moment but it was only yesterday that another product I reviewed had someone called MR X lol.
So not only will they let you in on what the big ticket item is but also tell you about offers that don’t need a sale for you to get paid.
There is a lot of what you don’t need like a website, but not a lot on what you do need. Oh wait I’ve just seen this:
So you’re going to get everything you need inside Insurgency?
I’m only a small way into the sales page, but it’s clear to see it’s one of those pages that are full of hype.
One thing I do like is the inclusion of a 30 day money back guarantee, this means you’ll have 30 days to try it out and if it doesn’t work you can get your money back.
I think i’ve spent enough time on the sales page and have enough info to move on to the next section and find what it’s really about.
What Insurgency Is Really About
I’m actually a bit confused. This product contains just 5 videos about Facebook ads. There is no mention of any offers for you to promote and in one of the videos he talks about putting the FB pixel on your website??
Didn’t the sales page say you didn’t need a website?
Turns out the name of TX is Rash Vin, not really sure why they’d want to keep that secret on the sales page, but hey ho it is what it is.
I’m not sure if this is a rehashed product because on the very first video his says welcome to ANOTHER video on Facebook ads.
The date of the videos is Jan this year so it’s possible this is bits of an old product.
The information is very basic and not what I was expecting at all. They all this takes is 3 steps well I’m adding a 4th step …… Ask for a refund!!
Talking of a refund remember this is supposed to come with a 30 day money back guarantee? Well it turns out it doesn’t.
That’s very naughty of them. There’s you thinking you have a whole 30 days when really you only have 14!
The Good Bits
The Bad Bits
- Unrealistic claims on sales page
- Stuff advertised on sales page doesn’t make it into the product
- Guarantee isn’t as advertised
- Basic training
- The need for a website when it said you don’t need one
Before we get into the members area I just want to give you a warning about the upsells. You’re going to see these straight after you buy this but before you get access to the actual product.
Several of my readers contacted me to tell me how they bought upsells like this and it was only when they wanted a refund found out it was only the front end that had a guarantee.
One of those was Matthew who lost $600. Read his comment here and hopefully it will save you from losing money.
Back to the members area.
Once you get access you’ll see this dashboard:
There’s not a lot to see in here, just an intro from Jono where he’s more interested in getting you to register for his live training which of course is a pitch for a high ticket course.
You then have those 5 videos:
- Account & Business Manager Setup
- Facebook Ads Overview
- Facebook Pixels & Custom Audience
- Launching your first Facebook Ads campaign
- Facebook Ad Insights & Optimization
And that’s it apart from the upgrades. Pretty poor if you ask me especially as the sales page was hyping it up.
I won’t spend too much time on the upsells just enough to tell you what they are and how much they cost and if you can get them any cheaper.
- OTO #1 – High ticket case studies – $47 with a downsell to $37
- OTO #2 – Resell rights to 10 products – $97 with a downsell to $67
- OTO #3 – Unlimited traffic – $197 with a downsell to $127
- OTO #4 – High ticket backdoor – $97 with a downsell to $77
- OTO #5 – DFY Vendor profits – $167 with a downsell to $97
And there you have the upsells. that little lot would cost you over $600 if you bought them all, at least I’ve managed to save you $200.
Trouble is all these sales pages had the same 30 day money back guarantee on them, but when you go to checkout it’s revealed you only have 14 days.
Before you consider buying these upsells I just want to share with you Daves’ comment here. You really need to read it if you value your money.
What an absolute let down. Another in a long line of products that totally fail to deliver what they promise on the sales page. I really don’t know why people are promoting this, well I do know, it’s all about money, they don’t care if it works or not as long as you buy it and they get their commission.
There seems to be a bit of a trend lately where they’ll advertise 30 days guarantee on the sales page and totally disregard that on checkout. I had one where all sales were final, no refunds whatsoever.
These guys have so many complaints against them it makes you wonder who is buying these products. You can be sure of one thing and that is if you do buy it and want a refund you shouldn’t hold your breath for it if other peoples experience is anything to go by.
It’s a real shame because if they put as much effort into the product as they do on the sales page then they’d have a pretty decent product.
For some reason vendors feel it’s much easier to reel you in with promises rather than deliver the goods. They can always make it hard for you to get a refund.
Suffice it to say I won’t be approving this one.
I’ve reviewed many so called money making products and seen many courses, but the only way I know of to make consistent money is with effort and time.
There is no quick way. Unfortunately it took me a long time to realise that.
Having your own website is the way to go, getting your website is easy. What’s not easy is getting the right training. It’s ok having a website but if you don’t know what to do with it it’s pretty much useless.
Just over 5 years ago I found Wealthy Affiliate and they have allowed me to make the sort of money online that most can only dream of.
I don’t show you that to brag in any way whatsoever, but to show you what’s possible with a bit of dedication.
If you want to have the chance to make money like that then Wealthy Affiliate are actually offering free membership at the moment where they give you a free website so you can follow along with the free training on getting started in affiliate marketing.
It’ll give you a good idea of what to expect without any commitment.
Simply click the banner below, no credit card needed, just a name and email address and you’re good to go.
I’ll meet you on the inside and be there to help you every step of the way so you won’t be left on your own. You’ll even meet the owners who will stop by to welcome you 🙂
