The computer geeks work from home scheme has got a very bad online reputation for being nothing more than a scam. Today we’re going to be looking into whether or these claims are justified or if the program is a legitimate work from home opportunity.the computer geeks work from home

what is the computer geeks about

Before we get into this review I’d just like to give a quick overview as to what this is all about. It would seem that this all revolves around a practice called ‘link posting’ where companies are supposedly desperate for people to post links from the comfort of their own home.

Now by doing this you are led to believe that you can earn up to $379 PER DAY, that’s a lot of money especially when you take into account that you’ll only need to work a few hours a day to get it.

Let’s just think about that for a second $379 a day x 30 = $11,370 x 12 = $136,440 a year all for a couple of hours work a day. REALLY!

I’m beginning to smell a rat.[su_divider top=”no”]

the sales page

The sales page can give you an insight into a program before you even think about buying it which is why i always take a good look at it, sometimes people will only ever skim it and see all the wonderful claims and hit the buy button. I like to dig a little deeper.

the computer geekNow do you notice that bit at the top right where it says ‘work from home opportunities have been featured on:’ well that’s absolutely true, just not this particular work from home scheme

This particular sales page isn’t unique either, by that i mean it’s being used by a lot of different sites selling the same thing.
This usually means only one thing and that is it’s scam website that is trying to cash in before it’s taken down.

Now i say the same, but sometimes the presenter of the offer changes, but the content stays exactly the same.

In fact i have currently found 10 sites all with the exact same wording apart from the name and the little back story they have, everything else is practically the same.

Now this is where i actually got really confused and had to spend around 3 hours going back and forth between these websites and one that i found really threw a spanner in the works.

That other website i found was called Internet Jetset by John Crestani who is a well-known affiliate marketer.

internet jetset
Now this website says all the same things about link posting, all the same sales pitch, a lot of the same graphics as all these other sites including the one we’re reviewing today, The Computer Geeks, the only thing different that really stood out was this in the bottom cornerclickbank

Clickbank is the platform on which Internet Jetset is being sold. Now the big question is, are all them other sites just promoting John Crestani’s Internet Jetset?

#1 recommendation
I don’t think so and the reason i say that is because at no point when you go to checkout on the others is there any mention of Clickbank which of course there has to be if indeed it is a Clickbank product also the price structure is different, all the others are $97 whereas John Crestani’s one is $47 a month recurring payment.the computer geeks checkout

So to me that can mean that what the Internet Jetset teaches is how to put these landing pages together using a template that they all seem to be using and just changing their name and promoting different things.

But It gets a bit stranger than that as when i do a search for Internet Jetset the sales page is nothing like the one I’ve just been on??????? No mention of link posting like the other one.

Things just ain’t adding up. I’m really surprised to see someone who is well-known being involved in what looks like a lot of shady websites.

After more digging I’ve found out that this product that John Crestani is promoting could be called link posting because in the program he teaches his clients, among other things, to post links from places like Amazon to 3 different places, Google, Youtube and Facebook.

So it would seem that they are all linked together somehow, I’m just not sure how at the moment. I mean if The computer geeks.com and all the rest are promoting Crestani’s product why doesn’t their checkout pages show Clickbank secure checkout?[su_divider top=”no”]

final thoughts

This has really been a headache trying to unravel what i initially thought would be a straightforward review. If you look at some of the other reviews out there about this then you wouldn’t go near it with a ten-foot barge pole.

But what do i think?

Well to be honest i don’t like the fact that the checkout is so very different from Crestani’s one. Now it could be that they are not actually promoting Crestani’s link posting program, but I’m pretty sure it’s a safe bet to say they are.

That being the case I would be much happier checking out through Crestani’s website than the others simply because Clickbank does have a refund policy in place, but not only that, at the moment access to the course is available on a 30-day trial for $1 which i may well do and write an in depth review about it.

So I don’t like the sales page what with that just being a template with every website saying the same thing.

Is it a scam like everyone else is saying? Well you don’t see anybody saying anything good about it that’s for sure, but a scam? I’ve got to be honest i just don’t know and I’m personally not willing to risk $97 to find out.

You know that the people on these sites like Brenda Adams who is fronting The Computer Geeks at the moment was actually called Karen Williams a while back and who are claiming to have found this miracle income are not actual people, the photos being used are all come from stock photo websites.

To wrap this up If they are promoting Internet Jetset, then no it’s not a scam, it’s just not a very good way to go about things and i would personally stay clear of them.

so what now

If you are looking for a totally transparent program that teaches you how you can become an affiliate marketer which is what you’d be doing with the program above, being an affiliate for companies like not just Amazon, but many more.

And yes you can earn a full time income, but it won’t happen overnight. Sorry. You’re going to have to work at it, but if you’re willing to do that then click the banner below to see what’s involved.

  1. Hallo there,

I don’t know why, but whenever I see programs telling that there are a few spots left in my area, I get skeptical immediately.

And chances are, the program will have a scammy aspect or a catch within it.

The computer geeks is nothing far from what I am saying and I really didn’t like the way they try to deceive folks with the Crestani’s linking program.

I am so not joining it! Thanks for the detailed review though. 🙂

    • This one really confused me as far as the John Crestani link is concerned, normally programs like this are very easy to spot if you know what you are looking for, but this one really took some digging to try and figure it out and I’m not even sure i did at the end.
