Speedly Review

Welcome to my Speedly Review. Art Flair and Pallab Ghosal are two people who I call serial product releasers, they release a “new” product so often it’s hard to keep up with them.

The funny thing is all their products claim to be able make you vast amounts of money in a short amount of time with very little effort.

Now all that sounds great …… if it were true. Unfortunately I never seen one of those claims come true. What I do get people getting in touch with me to tell me how the product they bought was total rubbish and nothing like the sales page.

The only ones who seem to be making the money are the vendors themselves.

But I am a firm believer that people can change and hopefully they can show that in their latest product.

what is Speedly about

Well according to the sales page it’s about getting laser targeted traffic, doubling it, make $298.50 in the first 24hrs online with just 5 minutes of work and then set it to autopilot so it continues to make you sales.

I’m sorry, but it might just be the skeptic in me, but that sounds highly unlikely to be true and you know what they say “if it sounds too good to be true it usually is“.

speedly sales page headline

Apparently even if you have no experience or skills whatsoever you can still get results in just 5 minutes with this method.

sales page hype

I wouldn’t take too much notice of the testimonials from the other marketers. Why do I say that, surely as ‘top marketers’ they know what they’re talking about, right.

Unfortunately they all know each other and are always giving each others product a glowing recommendation. Here they are sitting around having a laugh.

top marketers

And you know why they’re smiling don’t you? They’ve just come up with another way to separate you from your hard earned money!

So how do they reckon this is all going to work? Well they don’t actually tell you.

Luckily for you I am going to tell you.

It’s about using free and paid traffic, but the emphasis is on the paid part. You start off with a Facebook re targeting video ad, that advert sends people to your blog which has a review on it about a particular product with your affiliate link. Your review sends people to the sales page for that product and if they buy you get the commission.

It’s called affiliate marketing and it’s a model that is used by many people, myself included. The only difference is I don’t use Facebook ads, I use SEO.

Now here was no mention on the entire sales page that you needed a website was there. In fact, it said you needed no experience or skills.

So how on earth are you going to set up a website with no experience? Simply answer is you’re not.

It didn’t say anything on the sales page about writing reviews either did it. Writing reviews for products you have to get approved for (which isn’t always as straightforward as it would seem) to promote in the first place.

And you’re expected to do all that with 5 minutes work? Yeah right, like I believe that.

Take a look at this statement from the sales page:

97 percent

Are you wondering what 97% of marketers are forgetting to do?

blog set up

That is the most basic of requirements if you are going to stand a chance of making money online and they make out as if it’s some sort of great revelation.

Anyway now you know what Speedly is about I’ll take you through what you can expect from the training.[su_divider top=”no”]

Inside the members area

Speedly is made up of 16 modules, I say modules, but really they’re just single videos.

  • Module 1 – Introduction to SPEEDLY – 10.06 – This is where you find out that you need to record a video, have a website and get approved for promoting products.
  • Module 2 – What You Need – 5.16 – A Facebook fan page, a blog with reviews on it.
  • Module 3 – Set Up – Part 1 – 5.14 – Show how to set up a FB fan page
  • Module 4 – Building Your Fan Base For Free – 3.25 – In this video he tells you to invite your FB friends, the ones in your normal profile to build up your fan base. The problem with that is you might not want your friends knowing what you’re doing at the moment and probably more importantly your friends are more than likely not going to be interested in Internet Marketing. He also says about using your fan page as a signature in emails, but what if you haven’t got an email list yet?
  • Module 5 – Set Up – Part 2 – 9.16 – This goes over how to set up your own blog, unfortunately right at the beginning Pallab admits he only has a basic understanding which doesn’t really instil you with confidence, but to be fair he doesn’t do a bad job of telling you how to register a domain name and get hosting.
  • Module 6 – Set Up – Part 3 – 4.05 – Carrying on from the last one this shows you about selecting and installing themes
  • Module 7 – Set Up – Part 4 – 5.36 – How to select and install your plugins. One thing that confused me a little was the 404 plugin. Why would you need a redirect plugin on a brand new site?

OK let me just step in here very quickly because that’s the end of setting up your blog and that what he’s just gone over is only a fraction of what you need to do.

He hasn’t talked about how to set up your menus, what widgets to use, how to use widgets, an about me page, a privacy policy page, GDPR compliance and so on and so on..

So you are going to need to learn all that stuff which you can do HERE for FREE. OK let’s carry on…

  • Module 8 – DOUBLE Your Traffic – Part 1 – 3.57 – This is where he gives you an explanation as to why you should use FB video re targeting ads
  • Module 9 – DOUBLE Your Traffic – Part 2 – 6.07 – This section is only going to be relevant to you IF you already have an email list. He basically shows you how to import your existing list into Facebook
  • Module 10 – DOUBLE Your Traffic – Part 3 – 4.39 – Here he covers how to create your video, but he doesn’t actually show you how, he just tells you to use decent lighting and sound.
  • Module 11 – Setting Up Your Traffic Magnet – 11.55 – This goes over setting up your ad campaign inside facebook, unfortunately this shows up at the end

FB ad

But he just shrugs that off and says if there is an issue you can always tweak that particular part, but fails to tell you how.

  • Module 12 – More On Traffic – 6.23 – This section covers using an image instead of video in the ad campaign which I think is a good option seeing as a lot of people don’t like putting themselves on video
  • Module 13 – Outsourcing – 2.38 – How to use Fiverr to outsource your video, I don’t like this way of doing things, it just seems a bit false and would rather use images than have someone else on my video which don’t forget leads back to your blog.
  • Module 14 – High Converting Offers – 4.25 – This is a very important part of the whole process, if you don’t have an offer to promote then it’s all pointless, unfortunately he just tells you to request your link from vendors on Warrior+plus without giving you any help in getting approved. Vendors don’t like giving approval if you are new and haven’t got sales yet.
  • Module 15 – Starting From Scratch – 5.55 – This is about building your email list from scratch, but that is going to cost you around $194 for 200 clicks and don’t think all those clicks are going to end up signing up on your email list because they won’t.
  • Module 16 – $22K in 60 Days Case Study – 6.28 – This video is about something that I reviewed not so long age, it was another product by Art & Pallab called Profit Robot and it was the most annoying product that I have reviewed, it nearly gave me nightmares.

So there you have Speedly. One thing that wasn’t covered was the secret lead generating software, remember this headline from the sales page

secret software

It’s included in the bonuses at the bottom of the training area and it’s actually a free squeeze page creator that you can see here

And if you do a quick Google search of the name you can get it for free without having to buy this course. Now I don’t know if it’s any good I’m just pointing out what the “secret” software was.[su_divider top=”no”]

what did I like

  • Money back guarantee????

what didn’t I like

  • Over hyped sales page
  • No mention of certain things on the sales page like having your own blog
  • Sub-standard training on setting up your blog
  • Hard to understand at times
  • Leaves you with more questions than answers
  • Never going to be 5 minutes of work
  • The upsells

[su_divider top=”no”]

oto’s

Talking of upsells this has an incredible 5 otos’ and what I would recommend you do is NOT to buy them straight away, they are readily available in the members area.

The reason I say that is it came to my attention recently courtesy of a few of my readers that the upsells aren’t covered by the money back guarantee.

So as you’ll see in a moment the upsells can mount up to quite a bit of money and if you find the course really isn’t what you were lead to believe it would be by the sales page and want your money back chances are you’ll only be refunded the main product price of $13 and not the expensive oto’s.

  • OTO #1 – $27 – Case Studies & Advanced Training – This has 5 Speedly case studies and an 8 part case study which is taken from one of their old products called Increaserr
  • OTO #2 – $37 – Done-For-You Platinum Pack – This has Done for you campaigns which consist of a number of different campaigns and is quite frankly fairly confusing to know what to do with. There are no instructions to tell you what to do.
  • OTO #3 – $197 – Unlimited Traffic Package – I don’t really understand this one seeing as the whole sales page is being based around the main product being able to double your traffic in 5 minutes, why would you then want to spend another $197. It doesn’t make any sense
  • OTO #4 – $47,$97 or £197 – Resellers License – This is the license to resell and keep 100% and the different prices reflect which package you choose, but You can only start reselling from January 2nd 2019
  • OTO #5 – $197 or 97 – Mastermind Coaching – Again depending on which package you choose, 6 or 3

So just remember what I said because that little lot all adds up to $655 and on the sales page of each upsell there is no money back guarantee that I could see.[su_divider top=”no”]

final thoughts

Unfortunately this is like a lot of their other releases, they promise a lot on the sales page and fail to deliver on the inside.

I have absolutely no idea where they get this ‘5 minutes’ thing from, they never mention anything about that in the training.

Talking of the training I kept on thinking it will start properly soon, but before I knew it the whole course was over and I hadn’t learnt anything if I’m totally honest.

He seems to skim over everything he does and I don’t know if it’s on purpose or if he has just forgotten what it’s like to be new at this and just assumes people will know what he’s on about, do you know what I mean?

One of the biggest problems is the fact that his accent makes it incredibly difficult to understand what he’s saying some of the time, so much so that I had to repeat certain sections so many times just to try and piece together what he was saying.

I really don’t know why they have called this Speedly, there is nothing speedly about it.

They go on about if you have double the traffic you’re going to have double the sales ….. WHAT!

NO you’re not, that’s just stupid talk and just goes to show their lack of knowledge.

not approved

[su_divider top=”no”]

so what now

One thing that he is absolutely correct on and that is you definitely need your own website and I actually find it hard to believe that 97% of marketers don’t know that.

Now as he said himself and demonstrated he only has a basic understanding of HOW to set up a website correctly, I suggest you set yours up the right way and if you do you’ll have a solid base on which to build.

  1. Yikes. Glad I didn’t buy this. I was very skeptical, yet a little intrigued. On the sales page when Art showed the member’s area I didn’t notice any kind of links below the videos to purchase something else needed to make the product work. I’ve bought programs from him in the past and I’m all excited amd stuff, only to log in to the member’s area and find out that he’s trying to sell me other products to go along with it. I can’t necessarily complain about that, cause it’s business and I get it, but at the very least you could say something like “there are other things you can buy if you want to make the product work in the member’s area” on the sales page.

This industry sucks. It sucks that it seems people are more focused on creating products (not to mention with a bunch of upsells) to make themselves money. It sucks that basically everybody who is new to trying to make money online goes through a period of just buying subpar product after subpar product. And it sucks that because of this, some people may even give up and become a slave to the rat race, which I can tell is something you do not like due to the name of this website.

My biggest thing is about the misleading. If you want to release products and programs, that’s fine. It’s a business, you’re trying to make money. It’s cool, I get it. But at the very least be fuckin truthful, honest, transparent. And don’t mislead people, get their hopes up only to underdeliver. Funny how all these people say on their sales pages “oh you’ve tried product after product and nothing worked, but this will change that.” So what, does that mean the last 34 products you released are crap and you just want me to buy this one? That’s not what you thought back when those products were launched.

Not only misleading, but straight up lies. I cannot comprehend how people will say stuff that is a blatant lie. How can you even do that? Or at least, how can you live with yourself? Making money is great, but by what means are you attaining it? What kind of impact are you having on the people who trust you enough to give you their money? I feel that painting a picture of the possibilities one could achieve by buying something is a good thing to do, but it depends on how you do it. I feel like sometimes these guys just lazily put a piece of copy saying something like that, but they’re not truly being genuine about it; they’re using it to try to get you to buy their product. It won’t be as easy as simply buying the product, implementing it, and all of a sudden you’re achieving $XXX days, 4 or even 5 figure months, 6 figures per year. Notice how they don’t try to prepare you for any obstacles along the way. And I mean even if you get to that 6 figure mark let’s say, you still have to put in the work to maintain or scale that number. Maybe if you have enough passive, “set it and forget it” things set up you can still make money, but probably not as much as when you were actively working on your business.

I’m at a point now where I’m not trusting any of these “serial product releasers.” I mean how many “new, never before seen” methods are out there? Do you really think they come around every month? Notice how basically every one of these products is marketed as “newbie friendly.” I am a big believer in the unlimited, infinite capacity of human creativity and innovation, but with regards to making money online? Eh, I’m skeptical. There are a few methods that work but I’m skeptical about there always being new ones. And obviously after reading some of your other product reviews, it seems that my skepticism is warranted and correct. If I’m gonna buy a product from one of these “serial product releasers” it better actually be something different, not a sales page that has the same kind of stuff.

This industry needs a good cleaning up. Or at least buyers need to be made aware of the misleading tactics to prevent from falling for them and going through that process of shiny object syndrome. They will have to go through a process if they want to make money online, but we can prevent them from going down THAT road. Perhaps a different process like the Wealthy Affiliate thing, where perhaps you go through a process where you only see small results to start (as opposed to $XXX in 24 hrs or whatever) but you keep working the process and scale that baby up to a full time income online. This is a process filled with excitement at incremental progress as opposed to a process filled with frustration, financial loss, and perhaps even leading to giving up.

Lots of times these people will try to paint a vision in your head of the kind of results you can get and how easy it’ll be to get them (after buying their product of course). This is fine and important to do I think, but you also have to be honest with them and let them know it will be a lengthy process probably to get to that point. They of course have a small disclaimer at the end of the page and it makes you feel like it’s your fault for not seeing results. Well maybe it is partially but it is also your responsibility to care about your customers enough to put out good products if you’re selling products, and not just rehash something to make a few thousand bucks off a product launch (not to mention email list subscribers). That ain’t right.

I like what you’re doing here with your website. You’ve inspired me; I want to do something similar, where I review these products being launched and just be completely and perhaps brutally honest. I think I will try Wealthy Affiliate. The free option at first, then maybe the paid one. You’re not the first I’ve heard to glowingly recommend it. Maybe my results will be small and slow at first, but in continuing to work and “fight the good fight,” so to speak, I can really build something I think. Not to mention have the kind of impact on people that I’d like to have. Am I correct in assuming that you built this website and business from what you learned in Wealthy Affiliate?

I know this is a super long comment. I kinda ranted a little bit. I am passionate about this stuff. I am passionate about living the kind of life that making money from the internet can give you. I am also passionate about helping other people achieve that, and the fact that there’s so much bullshit in this industry makes me angry. It’s like they don’t truly care about you, they’re just using you for their own financial ends. You’re just a lead, subscriber, and/or a buyer of theirs. They don’t TRULY care, so it seems to me

    Reply
    • WOW! David you’re obviously as angry as me with some of the rubbish that gets released which is good to know. I’m glad I’m not the only one who can see through them and see them for what they truly are.

Even from this comment I can see how passionate you are and I love that.

That is something that you can use to your advantage.

If you do decide to give Wealthy Affiliate a go I will drop by and welcome you and help out in any way I can 🙂 Don’t give up hope!

  2. Thanks for your review, never have a job that takes only 5 minutes to make money with new people, especially in the IM industry (internet marketing)
Any passive source of income should go through the development process from 6 months to 1 year …….. Frustrated about the product.
I finally thank you for this honest review. Love you

    • Strange you should say that seeing as you gave it a glowing review on your website???? Perhaps after a backlink? But what you say in this comment is actually correct, it’s shame you couldn’t say that on your own site.

  3. Hi Sharon.
Thanks for your great highly informative review. This type of offer is why people come to hate internet marketing so much. Being scammed like this makes most people even more resistant to being marketed to.
Something else should be made clear – some marketers will not give you a refund if you find their product unsatisfactory, even if you claim your money back within the time frame specified. I have found it most difficult to get refunds even for small amounts, so ALWAYS pay for digital products with a credit card and AVOID PAYPAL LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Last year I had the unfortunate experience of being conned out of a small sum by two well-known Australian marketers who regularly appear on the W+ forum. They would not refund me and would only communicate by sending me even MORE OFFERS. PayPal was totally useless and kept fobbing me off with instructions on how to use their Help section. (Calling it a “Help” section has to be the biggest joke!) Eventually, I got my refund by writing a complete explanation of what had happened to the Chairman of my bank.
This year, it was the turn of a scammer in the US who refused to refund a larger sum. So far, it has taken over five months of wrangling with my credit card provider, who credits me with the refund one month then re-debits me again the next month. This has happened three times so far and is still ongoing.
So you can see the value of reviews such as this which cuts out all the hype and tells it like it is, and means you can avoid all the expenses and frustrations that come with buying the lousy over-hyped product in the first place.
    Best wishes, Sasha.

      • Hi Sharon.
I am very happy to give you the details of the seller in the US who defrauds people by offering 30-day refunds on his sales page then refusing to pay when his products are found to be rubbish.
        The website: http://www.buysellmethods.com
        The seller: Mike Knight
        Receiver’s email: paypal@buysellmethods.com
        Seller’s email: mike-knight@mail.com

        UPDATE
Last week I paid a visit to my credit card provider to see if my refund had arrived. It had not. Then a friendly young woman approached me and we got chatting about this particular problem of repeatedly being paid a refund one month only to have it snatched back the next month. She said there is a foolproof way of ending this situation, which she agreed could go on and on for ever. She advised me that the next time I get the refund I should immediately ask the credit card provider for a new card with a new account number. The seller’s merchant account company will be unable to re-debit my account because it will not exist to be debited. This may be a bit of a hassle but it is well worth it considering it will bring to an end this situation once and for all.
        Now it’s just a matter of time….

        • Hey Sasha, Thanks for sharing this with everyone, hopefully we can help someone steer clear of these people.

I have heard of them before, nothing good by the way, but haven’t had the opportunity to highlight them on this blog.

It saddens me to learn of the trouble you have had, but there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel.

          Happy New Year to you.

  4. It’s amazing to me how many holes there are in Speedly. Yet at the same time, I can understand why people fall for things like this, because I’ve been there myself (not with Speedly, but other online products and programs). The sad thing is that instead of “speed,” it’s “spend.” And that hurts, especially if there’s no refund. I think learning about all the things that are needed to have a successful online business greatly helps in being able to spot these holes in a program, as you have pointed out here.

    • I think the majority of people who are looking to make money online have fallen foul of products like this at one time or another. I know I have.

And that’s the sad part of it really, people are just trying to better themselves and their families lives and you have products that are a total waste of time and you find yourself back at square one.

  5. This is my first time of hearing about this site(Speedly). But when ever I see too much hype of things or product I always stay off or come online to read other experienced entrepreneur reviews. Have been online for some years now and I know that there is no shortcut to be a successful online entrepreneurs. All those marketers promising heaven and hyping their products are never honest because they are only interested in collecting your money and make your life more miserable. Some of these sites you will find it difficult to get support after signing up.

    • Very true I’ve noticed about the support thing. I wish I had your mindset regarding staying away from these “hyped up” products when I first got into this, would’ve saved me a bunch of money but oh well.

  6. I have never come across such a detailed review, each step is explained in short terms. Very nice written, I like the final conclusion. I support the recommendation for Wealthy Affiliate, the easiest approach, everyone can learn how to run the site step by step, every detail is important and special attention is paid to that. It does not really need the initial knowledge here, the only thing it takes is time. I especially like that it alludes to achieve yourself in what you like, so if you do what you love then the job is not just a job.

    • I try to give people as much information as possible unlike the sales pages that always seem to leave out the important parts.

The more information people have about the product will mean the better chance they have of making a decision to buy it or not.

  7. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. There is no ways that it only takes 5 minutes work to earn an income online.

We all know it takes hard work and effort to create a website.    I fully agree that it is a hype and I will most certainly steer clear of what they have to offer.

I felt bad after watching this picture of top marketers of speedly while laughing at those innocent people who put trust into them and they might feel ashamed.

People have to open their eyes to know such bad people who want to steal their money.

If they have the full story they can make a better decision as to buy it or not.
