Intrinsic Review By Trevor Carr

Welcome to my Intrinsic review. Today we’re going to be taking a look at Trevor Carrs’ latest product creation that he’s billing as quite possibly the last course you’ll ever need to buy.

Now, wouldn’t that be nice, I can’t see it happening though. I’m sure he’ll be back with another product in the near future, probably making the same claim.

And I’m pretty sure all his buddies aren’t going to stop releasing products that make outrageous claims even if this one does turn out to be something special.

Having reviewed around 13 of his other products and approving more than half of those I feel that he is going to deliver something of value on this one and at the end of the day that’s all anyone can do.

You need to provide value to people, but so many vendors don’t think like that, they are just after the money will little to no regard for the person buying it.

Hopefully He’s going to carry on with supplying value, so let’s find out.

#1 recommendation for making money

What Is Intrinsic About?

Intrinsic is all about creating your own product and selling it on Warrior + Plus, building a buyers email list from the people who buy that product and then you email them further offers, either yours or other peoples, to make commissions.

In the course Trevor talks about using PLR products and ‘pimping’ them to create your own product, which of course was the subject of one of Trevors’ previous products called Pimpr which I reviewed here.[su_divider top=”no”]

The Sales Page

This is a very important part of the review process for me, why? Because that sales page is what is going to make you want to buy this product.

Unfortunately sales pages can be severely over hyped to the point where when you actually get the product it has no resemblance to the BS you were fed on the sales page.

So, it’s my job to marry up the two and see if the claims being made stand any chance of coming true or if they even made inside the training.

Intrinsic sales page headline

So’ he’s claiming that he’s going to show how you can finally make three and four figure days, but this isn’t going to be quick, it’s taken him TWO years, so be prepared for the long game.

Now, that isn’t actually a bad thing because I know from the vast amount of success stories I see that they NEVER come easy or overnight.

There is ALWAYS a lot of work involved so pointing that out has got to be applauded, most of the other product vendors wouldn’t admit to that.

One thing that I do see a lot is this sort of statement:

sales page truth

But then they go on to say how theirs is different to all the rest. That is just so funny.

One thing I found quite refreshing was how honest he is when it comes to him saying how he used to have his own businesses and overheads like lorries and staff. He used to run quite a few companies including a furniture hire business and an office furniture dealership.

He also says he is no stranger to building and ranking websites which he did in the late 90s which gave him a head start.

What I don’t like is stuff like this:

sales page hype

We already know how long it took him with a head start so why would he say that, I suppose he’s come up with some revolutionary way to simplify the process.

I mean, it’s only ONE THING that you’re not doing.

If it’s anything like Pimpr then that had its drawbacks and it’ll be interesting to see how, if at all, he’s overcome them, because if you haven’t got the talent for rewriting then this is going to take some time.

The other thing I noticed was the testimonial, supposedly, I assume, from this product, but it’s the exact same one from Exodus, another of his products:

duplicate testimonialsThey could have at least changed the wording, ‘Pimped’ it a bit. Lol.[su_divider top=”no”]

Who’s Going To Use This?

I think this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get started producing their own products. Making use of PLR products means you don’t have to start from scratch which a lot of people won’t know how to.

Not only that, but trying to create something from the ground up is going to be extremely time-consuming especially if you are new.

This isn’t going to guarantee overnight success, there’s still a lot of work involved, but it’s a step in the right direction.[su_divider top=”no”]

The Good Bits

  • Price
  • Fairly simple method
  • 30 day money back guarantee
  • Not a massive learning curve
  • Video training included in the front end product
  • Cheatsheet included

The Not So Good Bits

  • Expensive upsells
  • You need writing skills or need to be good in front of the camera if you’re making video based product, but you’ll still need a script.
  • Don’t expect seasoned Affiliates to jump on your offer right away, they don’t want to promote rubbish, well some at least!
  • Using Google docs as a sales page.

What’s In The Training

OK, let’s take a look at the training you’re going to get for your $12.95. Now, the first thing I will say is for that amount of money you are going to get a fair amount of training.

One thing I should mention before we get into this is the upsells, this has 4 of them and I would recommend you click ‘No Thanks‘ for each of them, don’t take any notice of the limited offer claims, this is where they make their money so they’re going to be available.

I’ll leave the links for the upsells in the next section should you want to buy at a later date, but for now just give your undivided attention to the main course, that alone is going to take up enough of your time without the need for any more distractions.

The Oto’s

Right, now on to the upsells. As we already know this has 4 and they are as follows:

  • OTO #1 – $37 – Done for you pack
  • OTO #2 – $47 – Email Ninja
  • OTO #3 – $67 – License Rights
  • OTO #4 – $67 – Pimpr Mastermind

Like I said for now you really don’t need them and sometimes vendors can be a bit funny when it comes to giving refunds on upsells, take a look at Matthews comment here and you’ll see why it’s best to stick with the front end product only.

If you want to buy at a later date here’s the link for the 1st oto which will put you into the funnel for all of them:

Final Thoughts

Remember what I said at the beginning about providing value to people? Well, he’s gone above and beyond with this one.

There are some negatives, but as a whole and especially for the price, it’s very good.

Personally I think that converting someone elses’ writing into your own is a lot more difficult than is being made out to be. Try it yourself now.

Take a section of writing, it can be anything, it can be from this review if you want. Take a section and rewrite it in your own words remembering it’s got to make sense which might be a bit hard cause what I write never makes sense in the first place, LOL.

But you see what I mean, it’s hard isn’t it. Trevor does it very quickly because it’s a skill he either already had or he’s developed it, perhaps that’s where the 2 years comes in.

What I’m trying to say is this is a great way to get started creating your own product, but it’s going to take time. And even then after you’ve ‘Pimped’ it there are no guarantees that people are going to want to promote it for you which means you don’t get your buyers email list.

If you do get affiliates to promote it for you, who’s to say it will even sell.

There are so many variables, it all sounds great in theory, but it’s a very different animal in practice.

Having said all that you have all you need here to implement it just as long as you realise the time it’s going to take, like he says on the sales page it took him 2 years.

This is by far the best product I’ve seen for a long while and have no hesitation approving this.

What Now

Personally I’ve never come across a sales page that is hosted on Google docs before and to be fair it doesn’t look that professional, it looks as if someone couldn’t really be bothered to build a website.

Creating a website nowadays is pretty simple stuff, it can be done in under 30 seconds, don’t believe me? Take a look here.

Having your own website just makes your whole review look that much more reliable, not only that, you also have all the search traffic that you can get if you do SEO the right way.

The trouble is you need to believe that the people training you know what they are talking about which is why I’m still at Wealthy Affiliate after joining over 4 years ago.

  1. I had a look at your review and there’s one thing that concerns me with this product – the email buyers list part.
Sure, selling Affiliate products on Warrior Plus and the like is standard practice but with the new Privacy Policies with bought emails, how do we get our email list on autoresponders that don’t approve of this method.
    Thanks.

    • Hey Jeff, thanks for taking the time to get in touch. I’m not really sure, I,m not as involved in email marketing as I should be so I wouldn’t like to speculate, perhaps change autoresponder?
