Commission Robot Review

Welcome to my Commission Robot Review. Today we’re going to be looking at a product that was released a few days ago by Billy Darr and his friends.

I’ve reviewed many of Billy’s products on this blog and to be honest most have failed to live up to the hype on the sales page, in fact most of them are just rehashes of previous products with a slight change, sometimes with no change apart from the name.

And because I’m so familiar with his other products I’ll be able to tell if this is something new or indeed just another incarnation of all his old products, I hope not.

These guys do have a bit of a reputation in the internet marketing world and not the good type unfortunately.

The other problem with the software he releases is that a lot of the time I’ve been unable to get them to actually work which is probably why they have a good number of refund requests which some of my readers have let me know are usually very difficult to obtain.

You may want to look at the comments here before you decide to buy this product.

Having been out now for a few days I thought I’d see what the other reviews have to say about and if they are anything to go by then this isn’t going to be anything like his other products because thy all say how great this is and how it’s going to make you money.

But thinking about it they all said that about his previous products!

I’m all for giving people a second chance, but I think this is going to be around his 10th chance to turn things around so I’m not going to hold my breath, but I will give him another chance.

What Is Commission Robot About?

The sales page on this product is very long, but unfortunately apart from telling us it’s a piece of software they don’t actually tell you what it is.

There is a video, but for some reason they’ve decided to remove the controls so when you click to hear sound you can’t turn it off, you can’t forward it, you can’t rewind, you can’t do anything with it.

The only way to turn it off is to refresh the page. Luckily I know a way to download these videos so I have the opportunity to go back over certain area of the video to hear what they say if I didn’t hear it right first time.

Now, I will say that he has increased the amount of time he reckons it going to take you to get free unlimited buyer traffic, usually it’s around 50 seconds, but this time it’ll take you 3 minutes.

commission robot sales page headline

I’m sorry, but 3 minutes? really. OK, it’s better than 50 seconds, but it’s still unrealistic. And while we’re talking about this, do you notice that $250.

So, they say they’ll pay you $250 if you don’t get results. now I don’t know of anyone who can verify if that has ever happened. I’m sure judging by the amount of complaints about refunds they will get around that somehow so don’t see that and think you can’t lose.

They also say it has a 365-day money back guarantee, again I don’t know anyone who has tested that.

As well as that headline the video also says this is BRAND NEW software, I’ve had a look at it and it’s just the same as The Sales Bot and Commission App and looks like all the rest of the other softwares he releases which he also claims are brand new.

Having been through the video a number of times and the sales page I can tell you now it’s full of hype. it’s meant to be a 3 step process, it isn’t, not the way I know 3 steps to be anyway.

There’s one part in particular in the video that I’ve just got to point out to you:sales video screenshot

I find that so ironic that people selling software that rarely works should put something like that on their sales material, they’re talking about themselves!

But they still don’t tell you what it is you’re going to be buying, but I will.

Commission Robot is a piece of software that allows you to build a store to stock with affiliate products, so if you wanted to sell this you would put in all the details and it will populate to your store where you would send traffic to and people will buy.

If only it were that simple.[su_divider top=”no”]

The Reality

Let’s think about these 3 steps for a second, first you have to set up your store with inventory, where are you going to get that?

You’re going to be an affiliate so you have to go to a product vendor and apply to be an affiliate, now sometimes the vendors will want to see your store/site to see if it fits in with their companies image.

If you’re just going to promote products from the likes of JVZoo for example you need to apply to each product vendor to be an affiliate and getting approved to be an affiliate if you are new is not easy.

Vendors don’t like giving approval to newbies because it can affect their EPC. No affiliate link = no commission.

The if you manage to stock your store you then have the mammoth task of getting traffic to your store.

Now, according to the sales page it’s only going to take 3 minutes to get all the buyer traffic you could ever need, unlimited I think was the word they used.

Where’s it going to come from? Social media. They expect you to believe that just because you have a store, a pretty poor one at that, people are going to feel the irresistible urge to descend on your little old store and instantly buy anything you have on there.

Yeah right!

Don’t get me wrong social media can be a great source of free traffic, but you must have a big enough following and if you haven’t then it’s going to take time to build that base and that’s going to take time.

Even then why do these guys think that the people in your social networks will buy from you? It doesn’t make any sense.

There is no other training on getting traffic, no SEO, no paid traffic, nothing.[su_divider top=”no”]

What Did I Like

  • Unfortunately I don’t like anything about this

What Didn’t I Like

  • The rubbish being spouted on the sales page making people think this is an easy way to make money fast
  • Clunky software that isn’t reliable
  • Never going to start making real money online in under 60 seconds
  • Having to have a big social following
  • Takes a long time to build that following
  • The store being hosted on their server, if they decide to pull the plug it’s bye-bye to your store
  • Enough said really

[su_divider top=”no”]

Who Would Use This?

Now here’s the thing, if this did everything that they claim it can do then everybody would be using this, don’t you think?

The sad part of this is the only people who are going to be trying this out are people who are new to this game and don’t know any better yet.

Someone who still believes the hype that stuff like this makes it easy to make money and get free, unlimited traffic with very little work.

If you are determined to buy this then just a quick heads up, if you go to leave the sales page you will be presented with a $5 discount.[su_divider top=”no”]

What’s Inside?

I’ll give you a quick overview of what you can expect to find if you decide to buy this. Once you get past the upsells which I’ll talk about in a minute, you get to the dashboard which look like all the rest of his products:

You can access the 4 training videos from here that will tell you how to use commission Robot, they are pretty short, but do a job I suppose.

  • Video 1 – Overview
  • Video 2 – Accessing the software
  • Video 3 – Finding Offers
  • Video 4 – Setting Up Your Store to get sales

Here’s what the store looks like with a couple of products added:

commission robot store demonstration

Not the most enticing store is it, but this is what they expect you to send people to and for them to just buy. if you got sent to somewhere like that would buy something from it? I know I wouldn’t.[su_divider top=”no”]

The Oto’s

This has an incredible 5 upsells, I don’t mean the upsells are incredible, I mean it’s incredible the amount of upsells this has.

  • OTO #1 – Unlimited Edition – $37 with a downsell to $32
  • OTO #2 – Automated Edition – $37 with a downsell to $32
  • OTO #3 – 1K Daily Edition – $37 with no downsell
  • OTO #4 – Reseller Edition – $42 with a downsell to $32
  • OTO #5 – Luxury Edition – $197 with a downsell to $97

Now, to get the downsells all you need to do is click ‘No Thanks’ at the bottom of each page and I just want you to see this:

one time special offer lie?

That warning at the bottom isn’t true, they just want to squeeze as much money out of you as possible, click no thanks and you instantly get $100 off which in my mind is despicable.

How would you feel if you bought that for $197 and then found this out? Pretty bad right.[su_divider top=”no”]

Final Thoughts

I don’t think you need to be a mind reader to know what I think of this. The whole concept from sales page to product is not something I can agree with.

The sales page is just full of hype to draw you in, it doesn’t tell anything about the product, it’s just spouts fluffy stories of how you could have more money to spend on exotic holidays.

I really don’t like the way they tell you that all it takes is 3 minutes to make it all happen, it’s just rubbish.

This is just a case of rehashing an old product that there is no real need for except to line the pockets of the vendors and people affiliated with it.

I would advise you to stay well clear of this one.

  1. “That warning at the bottom isn’t true, they just want to squeeze as much money out of you as possible, click no thanks and you instantly get $100 off which in my mind is despicable.”

You know, that tactic just comes off as really desperate and needy. They want to try to get as much money out of you as they can so of course on the initial upsell page they’ll do whatever they think they got to do to get you to buy. But then you click “no” and you’re instantly presented with a discount, sometimes a huge one. And it’s the huge one that really comes off as needy cause it’s just like “oh, please don’t go without buying this, we really want you to buy it.” Also it’s just the fact that they think they can get away with charging way more than what it’s worth initially. It’s like you have a deal and you have a price you think it’s worth, and someone is willing to buy it for that price, but before you offer them that price you think, “hmm, lemme jack the price up a ton to see how much I can get out of this buyer, and really make a large profit.” And what may happen is you offer them the original price after they refuse, and they can sense your greed and don’t even want it for the price it was initially worth anyways
