Avalanche Traffic Review

Welcome to my Avalanche Traffic review. Today we’re looking at a new product that is being released by Bobby Dolcee and his partner Marc Gray.

I’ve had the opportunity to review a number of Bobbys’ previous products and one or two of Marcs’ and as a rule I’m usually pretty impressed with what they put together.

There have been some issues with how truthful one of the vendors has been in the past so I’ll be keeping an eye out for any porky pies being made.

What you’re learn today is how the sales page compares to the actual product, too many times I see a sales page that are full of hype and bear little resemblance to the product you end up buying.

I’ll go over the good points and the bad points as well as let you know who this is best for. We’ll take a look at what is inside the members area and what upsells there are.

We’ll finish off with our final thoughts on whether or not this is a good product for you or if it’s a complete lemon you should stay well away from.

So, let’s get this show on the road.

The Sales Page

Just having a quick skim over the sales page and I have to say it looks very familiar, so familiar in fact that I only saw what looked like it yesterday when I reviewed Gateway which looking at both sales pages is a very similar product to this one.

The main difference with this one is they make a big deal about Bobby D being able to get all this free traffic while looking after six kids AND having a full time job.

Looking at the sales video Bobby D tells how just 4 short months ago he didn’t have ANY traffic. He goes on to say he found a source of free traffic that has over a billion views a month.

He says he built this up in a few months and now gets over a thousand free views to any offer he promotes.

Now that would be pretty impressive if it were true. You see Bobby D started doing video reviews on Youtube in the second half of 2017 so rather than just 4 short months in reality it’s actually more like 30 months!

The other thing that bothers me is the claim of him having a full time job, now I know he was a Detective Sergeant in the Metropolitan Police, but his video on Youtube tells a different story.

If you scroll to 40 seconds and have a listen to what he says you’ll hear that he “Doesn’t slave away for 60 hours a week, he does 5 or 10 hours a week

Not exactly the full time job they’d have you believe is it.

Then you have this welcome video that tells a different story:

At 32 seconds he tells you that he’s only been in the affiliate marketing game a year.

So in the first video he’s been in the game for 3 years but that changed to 1 year. Now, on his website he used to have this little bio:

Bobby DSo what one are we meant to believe? Trouble is if he’s not even going to tell the truth on stuff like that how on earth are you meant to believe a word he says?

I feel you need to know the sort of person you’re dealing with. Talking of that I must give Marc Gray a quick mention. Here he says how he’s studied Youtubes’ algorithm for years and knows what works:

Marc Gray

Well if he’s been doing what he says for years you’d think he could at least be on par with someone who’s only supposed to have been doing this for 4 short months.

Unfortunately in the overview video for Avalanche Traffic Marc Gray admits that he “wishes he could get that amount of views” that Boddy D gets and that’s after being on youtube for over 4 years! So much for knowing what works, eh?

He then even admits that NO-ONE knows for sure how Youtubes’ algorithm works! And in Bobbys’ first video he also says that anyone that says they have worked out the Youtube algorithm is not being TRUTHFUL.

I’m getting really confused, do these two even know what they’re doing???

As far as the rest of the sales page is concerned it really is a carbon copy of Gateway. I just hope the training isn’t the same and they’ve just copied that as well.[su_divider top=”no”]

What Avalanche Traffic Is Really About

Obviously this is all about using Youtube as a way to get free traffic to your offers. Unfortunately the stuff that is in here is pretty run of the mill.

Things like having a branded channel, using Canva for your thumbnails and hooking people in within the first 20 – 30 seconds of your video.

I remember the sales page banging on about making Youtube your #1 traffic source without the need to be on camera, well it turns out that they are going down the same road as that other product, Gateway.

They are letting you download 4 of their videos to use as your own. Now that creates it’s own problems, mainly with duplication. And while Bobby D does admit that problem and tells you to add something unique to it he fails to recognize the need to also change the audio in some way.

Without doing that Youtube will flag that as a duplicate video and won’t rank it.

Talking of duplication, for some reason they each felt the need to do a video on the same subject with the same way of doing it. What I’m talking about is the way to do review videos without directly reviewing the actual product. Which by the way is a method that has been around for ages.

It does work, but it seems they are just copying what other people have been doing for a long time.[su_divider top=”no”]

Who’s Going To Use This?

As someone who doesn’t use Youtube for marketing I thought I might learn something new here, but everything they’ve gone over is old and even I already knew this stuff.

I suppose someone who has never ever seen or read anything about using Youtube could get some information out of this, but that in itself poses different problems.

It’s never going to be as easy as these two guys are making out, just look how long they’ve been doing it, LOL.[su_divider top=”no”]

The Good Bits

  • Hmm???

The Bad Bits

  • Lack of any originality
  • Questionable honesty
  • misleading guarantee on sales page

Inside The Members Area

Before we get into the members area I need to give you a serious warning about the upsells. These are the extra products that they try and sell you straight after you buy the front end product, but before you get access to your purchase.

STAY AWAY FORM THEM! For now at least. Why do I say that? Because there are some unscrupulous vendors out there that won’t give you a refund on upsells.

Take a look at Matthews comment here where he lost $600!

Ok, on to the members area:

avalanche traffic members area

You get 2 overview videos, 1 by Bobby D and the other by Marc Gray, why? I don’t really know. You then have a couple of ‘proof’ videos before getting into the main training.

This consists of 15 videos which cover various aspects like thumbnails, social media, keywords, descriptions, piggybacking, comments and some SEO, all pretty mediocre stuff.[su_divider top=”no”]

The Oto’s

Let’s quickly go over the upsells to see what they are and how much they cost.

  • OTO #1 – Done for you pack – $37
  • OTO #2 – VIP version – $47
  • OTO #3 – Done for you ranking service – $97
  • OTO #4 – License Rights – $197

So, that little lot adds up to just under $400. Remember I said earlier that Matthew lost a lot of money on upsells?

Well if you bought these thinking you could always use that 30 day money back guarantee that you saw on the front end sales page then you’d be in for a rude awakening!

There are NO REFUNDS on the upsells!

avalanche traffic oto no refunds

Hopefully you guys will see this before you lose your money.[su_divider top=”no”]

Final Thoughts

I think this whole thing stinks. As someone who either was or is an officer of the Met police you’d think he could at least be trusted, it makes you wonder what sort of copper he is?

That product I reviewed yesterday wasn’t good, but it was better than this one so that should tell you something. I really don’t know why they’d have such similar sales pages and products launching within days of each other, it doesn’t make sense.

There are much better Youtube courses out there like Adam Paynes Youtube Channel Mastery which will give you much better understanding of how to get you Youtube channel working for you.

The way they refuse to refund the upsells is another sign of a bad product, if you believe in the quality of your work then at least either give a free trial or a refund.

Talking of refunds even the front end guarantee comes with conditions. You can’t just buy it and find out it’s not for you and give it back for a refund.

Oh no, you have to show them what actions you have taken. That’s just ridiculous. It doesn’t seem to matter how bad it is, you’re not getting your money back unless you waste your time trying to get it to work and we all know how long it took them don’t we.

Sorry boys you need to up your game I’m afraid.

Other Options

I’ve already told you there are better courses out there for Youtube, but I want to give you another option. Rather than building a Youtube channel you could build a website.

Having a website eliminates the need to be on camera which can be a problem for a lot of people. A website gives you all the opportunities to earn money just like Youtube.

This little old website that you’re on at the moment earns me a nice monthly income:

wealthy affiliate income

Now that’s not a massive amount compared to some, but when you take into account the number of other websites I have earning me money then you begin to see the potential.

If you want to have the chance to make money like that then Wealthy Affiliate are actually offering free membership at the moment where they give you a free website so you can follow along the free training on getting started in affiliate marketing.

It’ll give you a good idea of what to expect without any commitment. No lies, no hidden conditions.

Simply click the banner below, no credit card needed, just a name and email address and you’re good to go.

I’ll meet you on the inside and be there to help you every step of the way so you won’t be left on your own. You’ll even meet the owners who will stop by to welcome you :)[su_divider top=”no”]

  1. Another fantastic review from your great site, keep up the good work. You can always rely on you to tell it like it is, it’s a pity all the other “reviews” aren’t as honest

  3. Thanks Sharon, this is an eye opener review. There are just so many contradictions regarding their credentials and claims. And a sub-par product too.. I guess the money’s really are in the OTOs, for them. Was considering this for traffic generation, but will stay far away!!

    • Hey Eddy, the whole thing was a contradiction if you ask me! They put out some rubbish for the front end and hope you buy the upsells where the money is. Glad I helped you save some money.
