Atomic DFY Review

Welcome to my Atomic DFY review. Today we’re going to be looking at Brendan Mace’s latest release to see what all the fuss is about.

Brendan is no stranger to this blog, some of the stuff he puts out is good, some not so good. But more worryingly is the reports of how they treat people after they’ve bought their products and I don’t mean in good way.

You may want to check out Donna’s and Stephane’s comment here to see for yourself if this is a person you’d feel comfortable giving your money to. I think it’s that sort of behaviour that has got Brendan such a bad name in this industry.

Most of the reviews you see won’t tell you this, all they say is the positive things and how great a product is even if it isn’t.

You won’t get that here, what you will get is an honest, unbiased opinion of the product. If it’s good I’ll tell you, If it’s complete garbage I’m not afraid to tell you that either.

Either way by the end of this review you’ll know if this is a product that can be of any use to you or a waste of time.

What Is Atomic DFY About?

What I like about Brendan Mace’s products is the fact that he does actually tell you what it is your going to be buying, there are so many vendors that expect you to part with your money without the slightest clue as to what you’re actually buying.

Only yesterday I reviewed a product where the sales page was so full of hype, but totally failed to say what the product was.

Atomic DFY sales page headline

This on the other hand does let you know what you’re buying. This product has 50 has what they call assets that are PDF’s on various subjects like for example:

  • Catching your cheating lover
  • Raw food diet
  • Starting a lawn care business
  • Choosing the right golf clubs
  • etc. etc.

Each of these documents are around 40 pages long. After going through a few and selecting some text I put them through a plagiarism checker and the ones I put through all turned out to be from PLR products which if you don’t know stands for Private Label Rights which basically gives the buyer of such products the rights to use them as their own.

The trouble with that is if they are not changed in any way you have a bunch of articles that all say the exact same thing. There was a product I reviewed some time ago that actually took a PLR product, ‘pimped’ it and sold it as a unique product.

These on the other hand seem to be just bog standard PLR without any modification.[su_divider top=”no”]

Monetization

As well as the ‘assets’ you get 2 options for monetizing, a monetization page which gives your visitors a way to download your ‘asset’

atomic dfy monetization

This page also acts as a way to get people to your affiliate offer, they land on this page to download the report, but are then shown that big red button to click here for more information and that sends them to your monetization offer.

The other option is a lead page where you collect emails in return for the report. The only trouble was when I tested that you didn’t actually need to put in your email so the whole thing was a bit redundant seeing as the main purpose of this option is to build a list.[su_divider top=”no”]

Generating Traffic

Just to be clear, on the sales page it says this is loaded up with 20 different traffic sources. I could only access 17:

traffic sources

Basically what you’re expected to do is start spamming social sites with your link that looks something like this:your link

Not really sure that’s going to work unfortunately that’s the only way this product has for getting traffic.[su_divider top=”no”]

What Did I like

  • Not really sure, it all sounds good on the sales page, but in reality I can’t see it working, especially not as easily as they make out

What Didn’t I Like

  • Unrealistic sales page
  • No real training included
  • Pretty obscure social sites apart from a couple
  • You’re going to have to match your target audience with the offer. It’s no good just ‘blasting’ your link to those sites.

A Look Inside

Right, let’s take a quick look inside Atomic DFY, I’m not going to dwell too long on this because I think I’ve covered most of it in the above sections, but it’s always good to have a look.

Before we do that let me just touch on the upsells that you’re going to have to get past before you even get to this part. The upsells on this product are bloody expensive, the last one costs an eye watering $397!

My advice to you is to ignore them and just keep clicking no thanks at the bottom of each page. If you feel ou want to get one of them a bit later you can, they can be accessed right inside the dashboard so don’t let the dreaded FOMO get to you.

So, here’s the dashboard of Atomic, on the left you have a small menu where you can access the different areas and there’s also a button on the right where you can upload your own PDF’s, be that something you’ve written yourself or another PLR product you’ve bought.

Atomic DFY dashboard

The 5th symbol down on the menu is The Source which is only accessible if you buy one of the upsells and this allows you to modify the reports with your own brand.[su_divider top=”no”]

The Oto’s

As I’ve already said these upsells are really expensive and I really think you need to know something about these because you could easily lose a lot of money.

On the sales pages for these upsells it clearly states a 30 day money back guarantee:

30 day guaranteeSo you’d naturally assume you’ve got 30 days in which to get your money back if you need to, right? WRONG!

When you go through to the checkout it says in small writing that it only has a 3-day money back guarantee!

3 day guarantee

That is very underhand and I’m sure will catch a good few people out. I’d like to think that’s not his intention to be that deceiving.

  • OTO #1 – Platinum – $67 with a downsell to $37
  • OTO #2 – Done For You – $197 with a downsell to $147
  • OTO #3 – Source Access – $197 with a downsell to $97
  • OTO #4 – Unlimited Traffic – $197 with a downsell to $147
  • OTO #5 – Everything Bundle – $397 with a downsell to $197

As you can see if you were to buy all those you’d have to cough up a staggering $1,055!

At least I’ve been able to save you $430, all you have to do is click ‘No Thanks’ at the bottom of each sales page. But honestly unless you’ve got money to burn I’d stay well clear of them.[su_divider top=”no”]

Final Thoughts

This is a bit of a difficult one for me to call. On the outside it seems a good idea, but the more you go through it the more you see how much work you’re going to need to put in to stand any chance of making even the smallest amount of money.

It all hinges on getting traffic to either the monetization page or the email capture page, you know the one that doesn’t actually require you to put in your email 🙂

Just sending out that link to different social media accounts isn’t going to bring in any traffic, at least none of any use unless you target specific groups.

For example if you were to use the asset “How To Become A Nursing Assistant” you wouldn’t as Brendan says ‘just blast’ out the link here there and everywhere, you need to target people who are likely to be interested in becoming a nursing assistant.

You then need to find an affiliate program that caters for nursing assistant related products, be that a course or something else.

So yes I can see potential and for that reason I’m going to approve this, but please just realise it isn’t going to be as easy as they say.

What Other Options Are There?

Basically what they are doing here is affiliate marketing. But like I said it’s not so much about the product you’re an affiliate to, it’s more about targeted traffic.

There are a few ways to get targeted traffic, you can pay for it, you can use social media or you can get them to come to you.

How? By building your own website in a particular niche, ranking it in the search engines and the people looking for either information or products will come to you.

The thing is there are wrong ways to set up a website and there are right ways. If you choose wrong then you will find that you get zero traffic, but if you choose the right way then there is no limit than that you place on yourself.

If you want to learn the right way without fear of being ripped off or scammed then follow in my footsteps, I won’t lead you astray.

It’s was so difficult finding that place that when I found it I would spend the next 4 years there and I have no intention of leaving anytime soon, I can tell you that now.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the training I used to get me where I am today.

  1. Hi everyone! So I would also like to comment on Branden Mace’s course. I didn’t buy his stealthed course, I bought his Atomic DFY course, and to be honest, it was crap. Not worth anything at all. So, they claimed they had a 30 day money back guarantee, which I tried, and am still trying to use to get my money back but to no avail. I then realized that It wasn’t a 30 day money back guarantee, it was a 3 day, but even with that, I asked for my money the day after buying it and I still don’t seem to be getting anywhere with it.

I did however get a strange email back from their support desk saying that some of the money for the course was donated to starving Indonesian children, and that I would essentially be taking food out of the children’s mouths if I took my money back. This I believe, was totally a lie meant to make me feel bad and not want my money back. I mean nothing was mentioned anywhere that any of the proceeds would be used for charity at all.

So yeah, sounds like the experience I had is very similar to a lot of people with Brendan Mace’s other courses. I’m still working to try and get my money back, but I’m not holding my breath, and I really don’t know what to do now at this point.

    • Hi Matthew, this has got to be a new low even for these guys. I’ve reviewed a fair amount of their products and I have never seen any mention of a percentage of the cost being donated to starving Indonesian children.

Have you managed to get your money back?

If you haven’t the only thing I can think of is what another of their customers is doing. Dave bought their Kartel product and was going to contact Warrior+ to deal with these people and if that didn’t work was going to report them to the FTC and I think that’s the only thing that people like this are going to listen to. (read his comment here)

I wish you the best and thank you for bringing this to our attention so perhaps other people don’t have to put up with the rubbish you’ve had to.

I would love to hear of any outcome on this and I’m sure my readers would as well.

  2. Wow that’s kind of crazy how it is really only a 3 day money back guarantee. That smells a little bit fishy to me. This was not a dynamic I was aware of in this industry
